Hi all,

I'm quite late but here are some results taken during the first good night of the two we had last year at the observatory.

They span the longitudes opposite to the red spot.

Regards,

Christophe

Dear all,

Sending four images from the past week showing Mars decreasing in size to below 8 arcsec. Seeing has been customarily poor and one night was also thrown away due to unusable results.

March 1 and 2 shares the same CML, Argyre is brighter on the first and the thin northern bright arc shifts position along the limb so must at least partly be due to clouds. March 6 and 8 images also have similar CML with a bright cloudy Hellas at the ev limb.

All the best, Johan

Dear Masami,

Attached are two images of Mars taken on February 28th and March 4th that I would like to submit to CMO.

Mars is getting small and starting to get out of my reach in the backyard.

Hopefully, I’ll have a chance to send you a few more images before this apparition is over.

Best wishes.

Dear all,

Here are two images from the past few days in poor seeing showing the Mare Erythraeum hemisphere with a thin NPC and a bright cloud over Argyre.

No dust clouds seem to be present.

Best wishes, Johan
