These were the first apparitions in ~20yrs that i spent entirely observing from my home UK site.

Despite this, it was a very productive year.

Hi all,

The image I circulated yesterday had the incorrect date- one of the spinoffs of running evening and morning sessions and then processing them together!

The original image indicated the 1 May, whereas the date should have been the 30 April. All other info remains the same.

Kindly find the corrected version.

My sincere thanks to Masami Murakami of CMO Japan for pointing out the error.

Hi all,

Image set from yesterday evening looking down on the bright Arabia region. Syrtis Major to the left, Sinus Sabaeus above centre with Sinus Meridiani to the upper right.

Some serious looking cloud in/over Hellas at upper left. The split in the NPC is quite evident, well shown in the G image.

Hello.
I am sending over yesterdays evenings images.  seeing was average but sometimes above average but never long
enough for a complete image set.  Even so, the results were fairly good.
The Tharsis area is covered in mist and volcanoes show well.

Dear all,

Mars is becoming increasingly difficult to observe, and during my four-week Mars hiatus while in Australia the planet had drastically shrunk. These will likely be my last images for this apparition as our birch trees effectively obscure the SW horizon.

The RGB images are really blurry and color balance has been difficult, but it appears the equatorial cloud band has been apparent. The 742 nm images show the low-contrast north polar cap, and the Tharsis volcanoes were small dark spots on the 23rd.
