Hello.
The May 6 images show a bright region on the preceding limb of Mars which show
brightly in IR and RED images but not as much in Green in little in Blue.. May be a dust event.

The image I circulated yesterday had
the incorrect date- one of the spinoffs of running
evening and morning sessions and then processing them together!
The original image indicated the 1
May, whereas the date should have been the 30 April. All other info remains the
same.

Hello.
I am sending over yesterdays evenings images. seeing was average but
sometimes above average but never long enough
for a complete image set. Even so, the results were fairly good.
The Tharsis area is covered in mist and volcanoes
show well.

Mars is becoming increasingly difficult to observe, and
during my four-week Mars hiatus while in
The RGB images are really blurry and color balance has been
difficult, but it appears the equatorial cloud band has been apparent. The
742 nm images show the low-contrast north polar cap, and the Tharsis volcanoes were small dark spots on the 23rd.
