Hi all,

Here is an image from April 6th. Excellent seeing. A fine view of Oval BA.

The brilliant NEB white spot was striking during capture and easily seen through the eyepiece.

Hi all,

Here are some images from April 5th. Some periods of good seeing, especially later on.

The GRS and cyclonic STB features are well seen.

Hi all,

I managed to catch an early season glimpse of a small (4.1”) Mars just after sunrise this morning at an altitude of 20 degrees.

Low resolution due to poor, challenging, conditions.

However, I believe a few features may just be detected:

a) The south polar cap at the top

b) The darkish Mare Erythraeum extending across the centre

c) The light streak of Chryse/Xanthe across the lower section of the image.

d) Maybe a hint of Niliacus Lacus at the bottom.

e) Tharsis to the lower right.

Best regards, Clyde

Hi all,

Mostly variable/average seeing for the session, with a brief improvement right toward the end when this was captured before it again worsened. A lot of time spent for only a brief period of decent conditions.

Oval BA is moving off at lower right. The array of SSTC white ovals at this longitude is nicely seen.
