Don PARKER's Images on 18 March 2003 at ω=227°W

  λ=154°Ls,   φ=7°S,   δ=6.8",   ι (phase angle)=40°

Seeing 2/10. Transparency 4/5.

Note:
Morning cloud is seen over Isidis Regio.
Cerberus, weak on the 16 March images, appeared darker on 18 March, when it was farther from the PM limb. Also, there was no evidence of any prominent orographic activity over the Elysium Shield.

This image was a first attempt with a Phillips ToUCam Pro webcam. Despite horrible seeing and prismatic dispersion, it does reveal some information.

PARKER used a 25 cm Mewlon (Dall Kirkham) working at f/38 with an eyepiece projection.
Phillips ToUCam Pro webcam was used as stated above.
Composed from 181 images @0.03s.
