Dear Masatsugu,

during Opposition we had 1280 Visitors at the observatory and we were very busy in public guiding at the Telescopes. After the last visitor went away, I could take some pictures. Now it is raining and I processed them all. Here are the first results...

λ=247°Ls  (ω= 14°W, 19°W, 24°W, 28°W, 33°W, φ = 19°S)  δ = 25", ι= 7°

Dear Masatsugu,

on 28.8.2003 I could take this picture:

λ=249°Ls (ω= 333°W, φ = 19°S) δ = 25,10", ι= 4,9°

best wishes

Dear Masatsugu,

tonight I also was successful...

λ=252°Ls (ω= 295°W, 299°W, 304°W, 309°W φ = 19°S)  δ = 25,0", ι= 5,6°

it is dramatically, how strong the SPC melts away. I never realised, that it goes so fast!!! Is the structure in Hellas (the "cross") real? or did I processed/filter too strong?

best wishes
