subscribe to CMO and have been asked to compile a list of famous Japanese
astronomers for an English language astronomy
encyclopedia.
I
have Shigeru Nakayama's book A History of
Japanese Astronomy, but that book only is complete through 1900. I am especially interested in famous
Japanese astronomers of the 20th century, like Hirayama. Any help would be
appreciated,
