The weather in Houston has been unusual lately as we have had a "cold" front move through. Temperatures are still around 90 F, but the wind is from the north and the dew point has dropped from the low 70s to the mid 60s. This has not been good for seeing and I am hoping for more hot steamy H2O saturated air to move back in so the air becomes so thick that it cannot shimmer. The "cold" front moved in the week after we had 30 inches of rain in three days and had many people on their roofs. Now the mosquitoes are so thick that my 14 inch scope has little more than 10 inches of clear aperture!
