This apparition of Mars has been very interesting with it's large diameter and impressive dust storm. The 90 minute observation window between my neighbors trees has now passed with with the season and Mars is no longer visible from the C14 observatory. I still look forward to more observations from the many diligent observers supporting the CMO. The CMO been very interesting and has provided excellent analysis of the many observations made, and is much appreciated by the amateur community. I am looking forward to Mars 2003 when once again I can provide additional observations with the C14 for the CMO.

Seeing very good 8/10, transparency poor 2/10 very hazy, wind calm, light dew.
