Subject: Mars
in 2003/04.
Hi all,
Here is a montage i created
showing Mars receeding from the Earth after its 2003
August opposition. All the images are to scale, with distances from the Earth
quoted. For those not receiving the image it can be found at this link:

It certainly well illustrates just how large Mars appeared
during its opposition, considering most oppositions
would be between the two centre images on the
montage.
