Subject: Jupiter Observation March 11th 2004 at 04:29 UT

 

Hi Jupiter Observers

Here is an observation from March 11th 2004 at 04:29 UT. The transparency was very good 8/10 and the seeing was good, 7/10 with light dew. The weather was mild with the temperatures around 60F.

        Ed Grafton, Houston Texas, ST5C CCD and a 14 inch f/11 Celestron SCT

        Barlow Projection to f/27 aprox .21 arc seconds per pixel.

                BLUE  + IR rejection, .6  seconds,  Edmunds filter

                GREEN + IR rejection, .4  seconds,  Edmunds filter

                RED   + IR rejection,  .2  seconds, Edmunds filter

Here are observations from March 20th 2004. The transparency was fair to good 5-8/10 and the seeing was fair, 5/10, with heavy dew.
