®. . . . . . Subject: Request for photos of Tom Cave

Greetings,

I was very sad to hear of the death of Tom Cave earlier this week. I grew up knowing the names Leslie Peltier, Walter Scott Houston, and Tom Cave, admiring them all for their knowledge and dedication. How sad that they have all passed away.

I've been asked by Astronomy magazine (actually, their website, Astronomy.com) to write a profile of Tom Cave.  Doing some research, I discovered your website and your wonderful profile of Mr. Cave. I was wondering if we might be able to use one or two of the photographs on the Astronomy.com website. We will gladly credit your website in return.

Thank you very much for your consideration.

Best regards,

®. . . . . .Dear Masatsugu Minami,

Thank you so much for the photographs of Tom Cave and his drawings of Mars.  I will submit them along with my article, and will make sure that you are given proper credit for the photos. The article will be featured on

http://www.astronomy.com

and will hopefully appear there later today.

Again, thank you for your kindness.  I will certainly notify you when the article has been added to the magazine's web site.

Best regards,
