Dear all -

Mars was imaged again on July 18th between 9:24 UT and 9:42 UT. The seeing was a lot better than the night before. But still, not good enough to capture the details in the SPC region.

This time I did something different. The left image was done with the maximum Entropy Deconvlution and the other one on the right was done with a regular processing like unsharp mask. Both show the same amount of details. But the left image is much smoother than the grainy right image. Please, can you tell me which one is more appealing? Which one is better? Which one will clearly show more details?

Still, Mare Sirenum is dominating on the disk while Solis Lacus near to the evening terminator. The SPC is again washed out due to the seeing condition. Everything looks normal otherwise.

Mario, excellent drawing! Yes, you may have seen a white projection along the SPC edge. Dr. Clay Sherrod mentioned it many times about this.

As always, keep up with your excellent work! Many good days are coming!!
