Subject: Another Mars with 4" refractor

    Dear friends,

Another Mars, first run with IR-cut filter, taken between two clouds. Hadriacum M. very faint. I'll try to do better with the 1 meter telescope at Meudon and VX2000 Sony tri-CCD camescope as soon as possible.

    Best regards,

Subject: Great seeing with 4" refractor

    Dear friends,

Many thanks for your encouragements. I attached an old image of July 31st showing Syrtis Major area (unfortunately displaying streaks in the B channel due to some processing problem) and three rather good images obtained August 1st with great seeing conditions (soft -i.e. normal- processing "s", harder processing "h" -showing small and/or faint details as Cyclopia- and darker processing "d" -showing some details in SPC-). First images (August 2nd) with the 1 meter scope at Meudon coming soon (processing in progress).

    Best regards,
