Subject: ALERT: Dust clouds in Chryse

A long "V" shaped dust cloud in Chryse and over almost to Lunae Lacus can be seen on Ed Grafton's 30 July image.  Dave Moore's 29 July shows dust clouds moving south over western Niliacus Lacus and Lunae Lacus into Xanthe.  Also, Skip Waller's 29 July image indicated same dust moving into Chryse-Xanthe.

Mars appears to be clearing up and the dust in the atmosphere has decreased. The dust clouds on images seem to be isolated and decreasing in size.  Time will tell.

Thank you for the information.  I was out of town and did not observe for a couple of days.
