Giovanni DI GIOVANNI #232

Letters to the Editor

From Giovanni Di GIOVANNI in CMO #232

@ . . . . .  I have received the n 106 of the CMO and I thank you greatly, it is on a matter that I didn't know and had never found on any bibliography. The matter is of big help in my studies. You think that own for this CMO I have spoken about the periodicity of the oppositions of Mars even in the high school where I teach mathematics.
By time have begun to pick up new and old observations of the cap of Mars for study the secular variations. For this I use the values of the planetocentric extensions of the caps on time or on Ls. I have addressed to various persons as McKim. I have also extracted the values from the CMO (I possess from the n. 120).
Since it is difficult to procure these data I have need of numerical data still or of curves for best number of oppositions. I will be grateful to you if you send me anything curve or numerical data.
Thank you greatly and best wishes to all the collaborators of the OAA Mars section.
