I here enclose my currently only Mars observation for this season, made January 11. Earlier attempts have been spoiled by clouds or unusable seeing conditions.
Weather is unfortunately not co-operating here, but it will surely get better as spring approaches even though Mars' low declination might be troublesome. It is quite evident however that I will not be able to make as many observations as during previous apparitions.
Many thanks for your beautiful Christmas card, which I appreciate very much. May the new year be fruitful and friendly to all in the CMO team!
