@ . . . . Greetings: I was out last night, the Opposition of Mars night trying to get some ccd images. The seeing was so bad the image was void of detail and very fuzzy. I tried filters with no luck. Even visualy I could just make out the Polar cap and a small dark feature on the North edge of the planet. May be tonight will be better. We have not had any good weather or seeing so far this opposition. Hopefuly this will change, Mars is nice and large now.
