Note:
S Sabaeus and S Meridiani are evident. The south circumpolar region, including Depressiones Hellesponticae, is dark. The south polar hood is large. Chryse has a bright core on the morning limb. M Acidalium looks morning misty.
Use is made of an f /7.7 Newtonian extended to f /50 having a 25 cm speculum equipped with an ST-5C (at -5゚C).
