Use is made of a homemade 20 cm Dall-Kirkahm at f/28 equipped with a Philips ToUcam Pro.
A 1° wedge prism was employed to compensate the dispersion. Also an IR blocker is used.
Each image was made by stacking 1000 frames each taken with a 1/25 sec exposure.
Technical Note:
Since the original B channel of the ToUcam colour image admits an intrusion of longer waves (>500mn) of G, we here provide, in place of B, another processed image B - 0.4G, that is made by subtracting 40% of G from the original ToUcam B ingredient.
Observing Note:
The spc is bright definite with some shadowy area inside it. The dark markings are not well identified yet. The B -0.4G image shows a faint evening mist clearly (maybe at Tharsis).
