2003 0709 JBs Note
Martian Drawings on 9 July 2003
at 08:10~08:40 GMT by Jeffrey D BEISH.

  λ=218゚Ls,   (ω=181°~189°W,   φ=21°S),   δ=18.1",   ι=34°

Note:
No dust clouds seen. Mars is shrouded in dusty-yellowish haze rendering the planet brighter than "normal." BC = 0+ to 1.
With this near perfect seeing it is impossible for me to draw all I see.

Sky clear and steady, M31 seen without optical aid, Milky Way brilliant with dark lanes.
No changes as I continued observing until Sunrise.

  Seeing = 9-10. Transparency 5, Altitude 48°.
  T=24.6°C

41cm f /6.9 Newtonian, 520-1045x
Wratten Filters: W23A, W25, W33, W57, W64, W38A, W47.

The Beish Observatory is located (81°19'34.7"W, 27°21'07.1"N) at Lake Placid, FL, USA.
