Seeing: 3~4 /10.
Note:
These images show the devastation in the area of M Hadriacum which was caused by the previous 2001 great dust storm. The area of Trinacria (Northern Ausonia) is also interesting. M Cimmerium is however quite reminiscent of the 1988 case. Note that the Aetheria dark patch has changed its shape due to the dust disturbance.
Instrument:
Use is made of an f /7.7 Newtonian extended to f /50 having a 25 cm speculum equipped with an ST-5C (at -5゚C).
Images employed are mostly chosen by the use of the SBIG PlanetMaster, and data are as follows
6~38 IR images each exposed with 0.05 secs
5~35 R + IR Rejection images each with 0.1 secs
5~14 G + IR Rejection images each with 0.2secs
9~21 B + IR Rejection images each with 0.4 secs
Filters: Koh-Ei-Sha's interference RGB filter of Type 3.
