Thank you for the note you sent this morning, and for the excellent image by Mr. Miyazaki.

Unfortunately, due to a change in camera settings for some recent solar work (with the 15cm refractor), my Mars data has suffered with low signal over the past couple of days. I have not had the opportunity to 'fine-tune' the camera for Mars and the C14 again.

The regions near to the terminator rapidly fade to black so I have not succeeded in extracting useful information from these image areas.

Attached is a Mars image taken last night (MVl08Nov03) for your records, in addition to some of the recent solar work for your interest... (left: #10488/#10468 on 2 Nov 2003, right: #10486 on 4 Nov 2003)
