Subject: Mars Dec. 18
Hi,
Here's a recent image of the martian dust storm. The seeing was lousy, but the
dust streak across the S is plainly visible. Not much other detail however.
Hope the Beagle lander will make
it safely, landing is just five days away.
If I can get no further images before, I take this
opportunity to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year!
P.S. I will be away Dec 26-Jan 4 approximately and will not
be able to observe Mars. D.S.
