Subject: Venusin UV light: January 21, 2004

Dear all -

Venus was imaged in UV light on January 21 at about 21:30 UT.

The seeing was OK but not great. Venus displays some dusky area in the north and a band or a 'veil' in the south. Compare it with January 10th. Venus' atmosphere had rotated three times since then and it is possible that these markings are the same features (assuming if there are no changes).

More observations are needed.
