The course does not have an exam, the evaluation of your performance is 100% coursework.

The coursework is divided into three types: Homework, Participation and Quizzes

The homework is composed of 4 homework sheets that are based on the lecture content (40% of the course grade).

There are a total of 6 quizzes (to be completed during the lessons for 25% of the course grade) that complement the homeworks. These quizzes will be the opening and closing quizzes, and 4 quizzes that review the content of the homework sheets.

There is also a significant amount of marks to be awarded for your personal contribution to the class through participation in the lesson (35% of the course grade). These marks are given because an important aspect of any language study is the use of that language to express your ideas. Therefore, the more you participate in the lesson through speaking in English, the higher your grade will be. This participation can be asking questions in English, giving well-planned presentations or any other contribution (made in English) that benifits the class.
