Anomalous dark feature
Hmmm... VERY
interesting! It's obviously caused
by a severe lack of blue/white clouds at that location -- a sort of localized
"violet clearing" (although the mechanism would not be the same). The interesting question is what was
going on to cause the lack of clouds there?
