Method of paper submission for the joint Japan-Korea session
- The deadline for application is November 26th 12pm JST.
Prepare the application form
- Please add the following information to a text file then submit this file as the application form.
- Please add the keywords of your talk. You can either select from the suggested keywords list below or choose your own. Suggested keywords: active region, prominence, flare, CME, solar wind, magnetosphere
- Please fill out the following information on the text file
- Speaker's Name (First name / Family name)
- Affiliation
- Telephone number, fax number, email address and contact address
- Do you belong to Korean Astronomical Society or Astronomical Society of Japan? [Yes] / [No]
- Presentation type: [a - oral presentation], [b - poster presentation with 3 minute oral talk] or [c - poster presentation with no oral talk]
- Title: Maximum of approximately 20 words
- Authors (please add the affiliation for each of the authors in brackets)
- Name of person who will present the paper
- Abstract: Please keep this to below approximately 250 words (including the authors and affiliations) as the maximum length of the abstract has to be less than one page after compilation.
- Please note that abstracts that are judged to be too short may not be accepted.
- For this session, if you apply for a talk that includes an oral presentation (either “a” or “b” type presentations), then it is not possible to apply for an oral presentation (“a” or “b”) in any other session, but it is possible to give a “c” type poster presentation in another session.

- We will inform you if there is any problem in your application form. Please be sure to revise and resubmit the application before the deadline.
- If you do not received a confirmation email within 3 days of submission, please contact asj2013sw[at]kwasan.yoto-u.ac.jp.
After submission
- After the application deadline has passed, the SOC will determine the talk type, talk order and talk time.
- In the case where many people submit abstracts for an oral talk, we may request that you submit a poster presentation instead. If we are going to request that you change the type of your presentation, we will contact you between the 26th and 30th of November.
