(Flare Monitoring Telescope) from 1992 through 2001. For comparison,
the number of flares (above C-class) detected by GOES
satellite in the same decde is also presented.

- The number of FMT flares began from 11th May, 1992.
- The flares were detected on blue wing images (H-alpha -0.8 angstrom)
by eyes. Using blue wing images, instead of center (H-alpha line
center) images might reduce the number of flares. Please recognize the
numbers, therefore, as the lower limit.
- About flare size

S = Smaller than 5x5 deg on the solar surface. |
|
M = Between 5x5 and 10x10 deg. |
|
L = Larger than 10x10 deg. |
